Hi there! My name is Desiree. I fell in love with the idea of helping women birth their babies when I had my own. It was an experience that left me feeling empowered. I realized so many women lack the support they need to bring their babies into this world and my hope is that I can provide that support to you and help you achieve a positive birth experience. I look forward to building a relationship with you!

While a doula cannot change your health circumstances, I am here to offer emotional and physical support in circumstances that are often stressful, confusing and emotionally draining.
My job as your doula is to show you support in all the decisions you make in regards to your birth, and that includes whether you get an epidural or not! Before the epidural, there are sensations that I will help you work through to keep you as comfortable as possible. The epidural may not take away all the discomforts childbirth may bring, and I will be there to support you through that.
You can never experience too much support too early. I begin working with most of my clients in the second trimester, but have had many clients prep earlier for their births!
